About The Role
As a Senior Software Engineer in the Contact Automation team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of customer support at Wise. You'll be a key technical leader in an autonomous team, driving the vision and end-to-end solutions for the Wise Assistant. This is a high-impact role where you'll tackle complex engineering challenges to automate real customer issues, significantly improving their experience and our operational efficiency.

What You'll Be Working On

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, resilient, and high-performance components for the Wise Assistant. This includes our core Java microservice consuming Kafka messages, as well as contributing to our Typescript and Python codebases.
  • Take ownership of our intent detection systems, contact processing pipelines, and the routing logic that connects customers to various automation solutions (templates, RAG, LLM workflows, AI agents, Vendor solutions)
  • Innovate with AI: Design and implement solutions leveraging foundational LLM models (AWS Bedrock) to resolve customer queries effectively
  • Integrate & Orchestrate: Lead and manage the technical integration with third-party AI Agent vendors, ensuring seamless and robust connectivity.
  • Scale & Optimize: Continuously improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of our automation platform to handle growing volumes and complexity.
  • Collaborate for Impact: Work closely with content designers to implement and refine automated conversational flows, ensuring a high-quality user experience.
  • Mentor: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers, fostering a culture of engineering excellence and continuous learning.

What You Need

  • AI Engineering Experience: Experience in applying AI/ML concepts, particularly LLMs, to solve real-world problems in production environments. (The Rise of the AI Engineer)
  • Pragmatic & Impact-Oriented: You recognize that achieving significant customer impact sometimes requires dedicated effort on foundational or less technically novel tasks, and you approach all work with the same commitment to quality and solving the underlying customer problem.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for collaborating effectively with
  • Deep experience in designing, building, and maintaining microservices. Strong proficiency in Java is essential, particularly in an event-driven architecture (e.g., Kafka).
  • Solid experience with both relational and non-relational databases, including query optimization and schema design.
  • Proven ability in designing, deploying, and maintaining clean, well-documented RESTful APIs.

  • A firm believer in and practitioner of best coding practices, including thorough code reviews, automated testing, and a culture of open feedback.

  • Hands-on experience with AWS Bedrock and its enterprise features for deploying and managing LLMs.
  • Familiarity with Agentic workflows, AI Agent solutions, and multi-agent systems.
  • Prior experience in automating customer support and servicing operations

As a Junior Backend Engineer on the Demand team in our Budapest office, you'll contribute to the development, enhancement, and maintenance of highly scalable Taboola advertising systems. You’ll help build and scale one of the world’s largest real-time big data platforms, processing over 40TB of data daily, and work on the infrastructure behind our global recommendation engine, developing high-scale systems and tools that ensure reliability, scalability, and performance for millions of users worldwide.

To Thrive In This Role, You’ll Need

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Professional Experience:1+ years in software development
  • Backend Development: Proven experience with Java equivalent Object-Oriented language
  • Software Principles: Understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and clean code practice.
  • Language: Technical level of English proficiency
  • Experience working with AI tools and a good understanding of core AI concepts

What role will you play in our team

As a Network Security Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and evolving our network security infrastructure. You will combine operational excellence with engineering expertise to ensure a secure, resilient, and high-performing environment.

  • Proven experience in network security, including Cisco switching and routing
  • Solid troubleshooting skills combined with strong operational and engineering capabilities
  • Expertise in Fortinet firewall solutions, including design, deployment, and implementation

Preferred:

  • Hands-on experience with FortiGate, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer

Advantageous:

  • Experience with network automation and scripting tools (e.g., Python, Ansible, Nautobot)

Your Role
As a Maintenance Engineer you will play a crucial role in coordinating the maintenance, troubleshooting and recondition of machines and equipment. Your practical attitude will definitely be your ally in implementing the suitable solutions you come up with. Moreover, you are expected to supervise and implement preventive actions and analyze its efficiency, while keeping contact with other teams for improvements.

Key responsibilities in your new role

  • Plan, organize, and document maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as with work and procedure instructions.
  • Support the installation of new machines and equipment by coordinating with infrastructures and logistics.
  • Set up and develop preventive maintenance actions to minimize downtime and ensure equipment availability.
  • Analyze equipment failures, identify root causes, and propose improvements to prevent recurrence.
  • Determine and supervise spare parts stock to ensure timely availability

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the technical and aesthetic condition of equipment on the production floor (5S).
  • Develop equipment to ensure stable availability, and lead Greenline program projects from the MNT side.
  • Support the ZERO DEFECT philosophy, and ensure safe work execution, complying with relevant labor protection and safety regulations.
  • Monitor and optimize costs related to maintenance activities.
  • Actively participate in the training of maintenance technicians, operators, and technologists on fully transferred equipment, and promote the development of maintenance technicians and maintenance shift leaders through professional training organization.
