Senior Ruby on Rails Developer
to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for building API interfaces and backend infrastructure and collaborate with UI, connectivity and DevOps teams to come up with elegant solutions to complex problems.

  • Build complex Ruby on Rails applications.
  • Build server-side infrastructure for the Workato user interface.
  • Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
  • Write well-designed, testable, efficient code.
  • Evaluate and propose improvements to the existing system.
  • Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.

Requirements
Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
  • 7+ years of experience developing, shipping and maintaining Rails applications.
  • Strong knowledge of Ruby.
  • Excellent debugging, analytical, problem-solving, and social skills.

Elsewhere Entertainment is looking for a talented
Senior Tools Engineer
to join our team and help shape the storytelling systems that will define our new AAA IP.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of designing and implementing powerful, user-friendly narrative tools that empower writers, cinematic designers, and quest designers to craft compelling, emotionally resonant, and highly interactive experiences. From complex branching dialogues to cinematic scene authoring and narrative logic systems, you’ll play a key role in building the tools that bring our stories to life.

You’ll help us by…

  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining tools that support cinematic design, branching dialogue systems, and narrative logic workflows.
  • Partnering closely with narrative designers, writers, cinematic teams, and gameplay engineers to understand their needs and deliver tools that enhance storytelling capabilities.
  • Supporting the development of a robust conversation editor and cinematic authoring environment that integrates with our gameplay and mission systems.
  • Building intuitive, non-destructive, and visual editing tools for branching dialogue, VO management, localization support, scene playback, and sequencing.
  • Identifying and improving narrative workflows and pipelines for greater productivity and iteration speed.
  • Maintaining and evolving our proprietary UI framework or integrating third-party solutions where appropriate.
  • Writing clean, reliable, and maintainable code that supports live authoring and rapid iteration.

You’re awesome because you have…

  • 4+ years of experience as a professional programmer, ideally with a focus on game development or tooling.
  • Solid knowledge of C++ and development best practices.
  • Experience building tools for narrative-driven games (dialogue editors, cinematic tools, scripting systems, etc.).
  • A strong understanding of branching story logic, dialogue trees, and cinematic pipelines in AAA productions.
  • Practical experience with UI frameworks such as Qt, ImGui, WPF, or similar, with an eye for building elegant and efficient authoring interfaces.
  • An appreciation for the needs of narrative and cinematic teams, with a user-focused mindset and an iterative approach to tool development.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to bridge the gap between engineering and creative disciplines.
  • Passion for storytelling in games, and a desire to build the best possible experience for both players and creators.

Bonus points for…

  • Experience with cinematic or dialogue systems in games like The Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077, Dragon Age, or Mass Effect.
  • Familiarity with VO pipelines, localization workflows, and runtime scene playback.
  • Knowledge of narrative scripting languages or node-based visual scripting systems.
  • Experience working with narrative design tools such as Articy:Draft, Twine, Ink, or proprietary equivalents.
  • Understanding of Unreal Engine or other AAA game engines.
  • A deep love for interactive storytelling and narrative design in games.

Work as a Java Developer to contribute in various streams of implementation in Insurance projects:

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Science, other Technical qualification
  • 3+ years in a corporate IT environment in a similar positions
  • Understanding of Java and related frameworks.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Exposure to microservices architecture.
  • Interest in the Insurance or Banking sector.
  • Familiarity with Insurance core platforms is a plus.

Job Description

  • ACE Quant Development Team is a group within Citi's Financial, Market & Credit Risk Technology group, responsible for developing the analytical models which are used for derivatives credit risk and exposure calculations Firm-wide.
  • The team's primary focus is the development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of the production derivatives credit risk application, used for internal risk management and regulatory capital purposes.
  • The Counterparty Credit Risk Senior Application Developer position is a senior role that will interface closely with Quant and Front Office technology teams to integrate pricing model and workflow enhancements within the ACE application. There will be exposure to a wide range of technological frameworks, including distributed computing architecture.
  • Key responsibilities will include identifying and implementing optimizations with respect to the execution run-time and consolidating development across asset classes.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a wide range of advanced technology paradigms including grid computing. It will also provide significant opportunities to collaborate with teams in the broader internal network including Front Office Technology, Quant groups, Risk Managers to ensure integration of new technology features and quant library updates into the codebase.

The role will involve tasks such as:

  • Development and maintenance of the ACE Python application. Assist with transition to cloud
  • Identifying and developing calculation optimization improvements
  • Working with Front Office teams to integrate quant library/technology enhancements into the codebase
  • Supporting the build, testing and release management of the credit risk application

Experience:

  • Solid mathematical finance and statistical analysis skills
  • Knowledge of probability and stochastic calculus

  • Ability to work in a team and to work well under pressure

Technical

  • Excellent command of programming using Python
  • Experience developing software for Windows and Linux

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline technologies like Jenkins preferable
