As a Senior Systems Engineer working in a Cloud Network platform engineering team, you're expected to:

  • Have solid troubleshooting and debugging skills with a passion for working creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment with continuous improvement;
  • Have familiarity with DevOps culture;
  • Have the ability to analyze complex data and develop innovative solutions;
  • Validate ideas and collaborates with in-house engineers and developers to promote creative solutions;
  • Have familiarity with buy vs build approaches, evaluating new products and technologies;
  • Execute high-level and low-level design for connectivity patterns for cloud network environments, considering multi-account and hybrid-cloud needs;
  • Have experience with system administration (familiarity with Linux OS, scripting) and Infrastructure as Code tools;
  • Have coding skills or interest to learn software development;
  • Have previous PCI CSS experience or a similar security standard, considering the network security aspects of it;
  • Support the Cloud Network topology, including troubleshooting incidents promptly, handling network changes, and participating in problem management processes including root cause analysis, and configuration management;
  • Provide a reliable and stable infrastructure via best practices, standards, simplified support models, automated processes, operational excellence, and outstanding customer satisfaction;
  • Have the ability to be data-driven before committing to a solution, taking relevant aspects like stability, reliability, scalability, and costs into account;
  • Effective monitoring, implement a robust control and delivery of solutions services to identify issues proactively within the agreed SLAs using different methodologies, tools, and processes;

Have the ability to document the solutions for cross-teams knowledge sharing;

We Are Looking for a Person Who Has:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Systems Analysis and Development, or a related technical field.
  • CCNP certification or equivalent experience, meaning you are comfortable designing, building, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex networking infrastructures.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in infrastructure automation and cloud computing (AWS public cloud preferred), focused on AWS networking services.
  • 2+ years of experience in planning, deploying, and troubleshooting network solutions (including IP addressing planning, BGP routing, and physical devices such as firewalls, load balancers, routers, and switches).
  • English proficiency, with the ability to read, write, and participate in meetings.

Your Impact
You will build the foundational data infrastructure that powers cutting-edge AI applications leveraging LLMs, retrieval systems, workflows, and emerging agentic architectures.

You’ll be based in São Paulo as part of our global Data Engineering community. Your Qualifications and Skills

  • Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years’ experience in a data-focused role (internships, academic projects)
  • Ability to write clean, well-documented code in a modern programming language, with a strong preference for Python and SQL
  • Interest in or exposure to data engineering in the context of Agentic AI, Generative AI, Machine Learning, or Business Intelligence across different types of data formats (structured vs unstructured) and processing methods (streaming vs batch)
  • Familiarity with commonly used data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, PSQL, etc.), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and engineering tools (Pandas, Spark, dbt, LangChain, etc.)
  • Exposure to modern software development practices, including version control (Git) and foundational concepts in DevOps and MLOps/LLMOps and CI/CD principles
  • Exceptional time management in a complex and largely autonomous work environment
  • Willingness to learn quickly and adapt to different project situations and tech stacks
  • Experience using coding agents (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, etc.) is a plus

About The Role
As an Analytics Engineer, you will be an integral part of our data team. You will work closely with the rest of the team to help model and maintain the Data Platform.

This role also encompasses important responsibilities in quality assurance, data governance, and promoting best practices to ensure that data-related processes are efficient, secure, and adhere to industry standards.

As part of the team you will

  • Gather requirements from the business and define an action plan to execute them.
  • Work on projects end to end, from definition to delivery.
  • Serve hands-on delivery of data models using solid software engineering practices (eg. version control, testing, CI/CD)
  • Collaborate with team members to reinforce best practices across the platform, encouraging a shared commitment to quality.
  • Manage overall pipeline orchestration using Airflow (hosted in Cloud Composer)
  • Design, develop, deploy and maintain ELT/ETL data pipelines from a variety of data sources (transactional databases, REST APIs, file-based endpoints).
  • Contribute to and promote best practices for query development, version control, code review, documentation, and testing.

What we’re looking for

  • 2+ years of data/analytics engineering experience building, maintaining & optimising data pipelines & ETL processes on big data environments
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Mid - Level experience with Python
  • Experience with our modern data stack tools (a plus!) We use dbt, Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, DataStudio), Looker
  • Familiarity with dimensional modelling/data warehousing concepts
  • Experience with software engineering practices in data
