We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!
The Role
- Build and lead operations and development teams for high-availability AWS services
- Contribute to the smooth operation of the European Sovereign Cloud (ESC)
- Collaborate with global AWS teams and influence service evolution
- Enhance day-to-day operations for availability, reliability, latency, and efficiency
- Participate in on-call rotations to resolve incidents
- Deliver scalable services and ensure a high-availability experience for EU customers
What You'll Need
- Experience in Python, Perl, or another scripting language
- Systems engineering experience with hardware, software, networking, and operating systems
- Expertise in Linux and networking, with advanced system diagnostics and issue resolution
- Proven ability to lead the creation and improvement of standard operational procedures (SOPs)
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Must be a national of an EU member state
