We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer for RGM to join our dynamic team. The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) for RGM Team is responsible for enhancing the reliability, performance, and scalability of products with RGM and Customer Data Exchange Platform. This role emphasizes proactive incident analysis, automation, observability, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless customer experiences. As an SRE, you will work closely with product team, DevSecOps, and support teams to implement best practices in operational excellence, automation, and incident management within a complex, multi-cloud environment
.

YOUR NEW KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Proactive Incident Analysis & Operational Improvements:

o Analyze incident patterns and trends to gain insights into recurring issues, collaborating with product teams to drive their resolution.

o Proactively manage alerts, identify potential problems, and work with cross-functional teams to enhance reliability and performance.

o Collaborate with product teams to prioritize operational user stories focused on reliability and performance improvements.

o Document operational workflows, and troubleshooting guides to support knowledge sharing and team efficiency.

• Complex Troubleshooting & Problem Management:

o Lead efforts to troubleshoot complex issues in collaboration with L3 and L4 support partners, ensuring swift resolution and minimal downtime.

o Participate in crisis management and response, including on-call rotations, to address critical incidents impacting the different products.

• Automation for Efficiency:

o Identify automation opportunities across operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual workload.

o Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to integrate automated security enhancements into the products’ operations and infrastructure.

• Observability and Monitoring:

o Use insights from observability tools to optimize incident resolution times, improve product performance, and drive continuous improvement.

• Cross-functional Collaboration:

o Work closely with architects, DevOps, and engineering teams to improve product stability and reduce incidents through proactive solutions.

o Engage with the Central SRE team, SIAM (Service & Integration Management) manager, and the SRE Community of Practice to share best practices and leverage synergies.

ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS?

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or IT operations with a focus on application reliability and observability.

• Hands-on experience with complex technology stacks: SAP S/4 (ideally with SAP BTP, Pricing) and/or Trade Promotion Management platforms (Xtel TPM preferred), system interfaces/APIs maintenance, EDI

· Promo and revenue growth management processes understanding and experience, preferably in FMCG industry

• Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell, or similar) for operational efficiency and incident response is an advantage.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to streamline deployments and automate recovery processes.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure during incidents.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate across cross-functional teams.

• Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Job Overview
We are looking for a KubeForge Engineer to join our Kubernetes-focused team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and optimizing our Kubernetes environments—including OpenShift, RKE2, and vanilla Kubernetes clusters—across the organization. You will play a key role in ensuring high availability, performance, and security of our container orchestration platforms, directly impacting the reliability of services relied upon by the entire A1 Telekom group.

Role Insights

  • Administer and maintain production Kubernetes clusters (OpenShift, RKE2, and vanilla Kubernetes) with a focus on availability and performance.
  • Deploy, configure, and manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes primitives (Deployments, StatefulSets, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets).
  • Implement and enforce security best practices, including RBAC, network policies, Pod Security Standards, and certificate management.
  • Monitor cluster health using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and built-in OpenShift observability stack; respond to and resolve incidents.
  • Automate operational tasks and cluster management using Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
  • Collaborate with development teams to support CI/CD pipelines and containerized application deployments.
  • Conduct capacity planning, performance tuning, and regular maintenance activities (patching, upgrades).
  • Document cluster architectures, operational procedures, and runbooks.

What Makes You Unique

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration in production environments.
  • Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture, networking (CNI plugins, Ingress, DNS), and resource management.
  • Experience with at least one managed Kubernetes platform (OpenShift preferred, EKS/AKS/GKE acceptable).

About The Role
We’re looking for a
Lead DevOps Engineer (Observability & Developer Experience)
to take ownership of two key areas within our engineering operations. You’ll work closely with the engineering teams responsible for our observability platform and developer tools, helping to ensure our systems are reliable and our developers are empowered with efficient workflows. In this role, you’ll shape the technical direction for monitoring, logging, CI/CD, and automation initiatives across the organization, while staying hands-on with engineering work. You’ll also collaborate with teams across the company to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and contribute to a team of DevOps/SRE engineers focused on Observability (monitoring, logging, alerting) and Developer Experience (CI/CD pipelines, internal developer tools).
  • Help define the roadmap and vision for observability and developer productivity, aligning with business and engineering needs.
  • Design, implement, and operate monitoring and logging infrastructure, ensuring robust visibility into system health and performance.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks that enable fast, safe deployments and improve developer workflows.
  • Collaborate with other engineering and product teams to drive cross-functional initiatives and ensure reliability and efficiency are embedded into our services.
  • Establish and share best practices for infrastructure management, incident response, and post-mortems.
  • Contribute to defining and implementing AI tooling and standards across the company, ensuring developers have access to scalable and secure AI platforms.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering, including some experience leading or mentoring other engineers.
  • Hands-on expertise in observability practices and tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) and familiarity with SRE principles.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and Infrastructure as Code practices.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS and/or GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes), and experience building scalable systems.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience working across teams (development, QA, product).
  • Passion for automation, reliability, and developer efficiency, with a mindset of continuous improvement.

Preferred (Not Essential)

  • Experience leading DevOps/SRE transformations or implementing reliability engineering practices at scale.
  • Previous software engineering experience.

Salary Range for this role is: Basepay 65,000 - 70,000 Euro Annual Gross

Your responsibilities would consist of:

  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining automated solutions using Red Hat's Ansible Automation Platform.
  • Leveraging Ansible Automation Platform features, to manage and scale automation workflows across multiple environments.
  • Developing, maintaing, and optimizing Ansible playbooks, roles, collections and modules to automate infrastructure provisioning, application deployments, and configuration management.
  • Implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines to support automated build, test, and deployment processes using tools such as GitLab CI, or TeamCity
