Frontend Engineer

Software Engineer, Backend (Go) - All Genders

Doodle

Berlinfulltime

Apply on the employer's site

Role description

Own the Backend (Go).
Doodle is a B2B SaaS platform used by millions of professionals to coordinate meetings and collaboration across teams and companies. We are building the future of scheduling and productivity. We work on hard problems at the meeting point of human collaboration and digital efficiency.

We aren't just looking for someone to "write code." You are more than a coder. You are a proactive builder and a continuous learner. You thrive on shipping products that matter. You always find a way to reach the goal.

Our core backend runs on a high performance, polyglot ecosystem of Go and Java services talking over Kafka. We value engineers who are curious and proactive. People ready to look beyond their primary language to read, trace, and understand workflows across the whole codebase.

We love high velocity. We actively encourage our engineers to use LLM and agentic tools (Specs, Loops, and agentic workflows) to iterate fast and build systems. We stay provider agnostic (Anthropic, OpenAI, Cursor, local models, or self hosted models in the cloud). Use these tools to supercharge your iterations. We pair that speed with deep pride in ownership. A natural "READ THE CODE" mindset, where you keep a full understanding of, and full accountability for, every line you bring across the finish line.

What You'll Actually Do

  • Own the Backend: Design, build, and deploy robust, scalable, high performance services in Go that power our core platforms.
  • Serve the APIs: Expose backend endpoints through GraphQL. Focus on efficient data fetching, query optimization, and clean integration with front end systems.
  • See the Whole System: Keep full visibility across the backend. Understand how Go and Java services connect across our distributed infrastructure.
  • Architect for Events: Build event driven solutions on Kafka for smooth data flow, system reactivity, and extreme reliability.
  • Ship with AI: Use LLM and agentic tools to move fast, while keeping total ownership and full understanding of the generated code.
  • Wrangle "Time": Tackle the fascinating logic of how Time is managed, processed, and presented across every global time zone.

What do you bring?
You'll thrive here if you are a builder who values customer impact as much as clean syntax.

  • The Foundation: A Bachelor's in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equal practical experience.
  • The Toolkit: Professional experience designing, building, and shipping production ready backend services in Go.
  • The System Thinking: You can read, debug, and understand multi language codebases. You can trace logic through existing Java services.
  • The Mindset: Hands on experience with distributed systems, microservices, and event driven architectures on Kafka.
  • The APIs: Experience designing and serving APIs, ideally GraphQL.

Nice to have:

  • The AI Edge: Advanced use of modern AI assisted engineering tools to safely speed up backend testing, generation, and architecture validation.
  • The Cloud: Experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • The Fundamentals: A strong base in data structures, algorithms, and distributed system design.
  • The Location: You are based in Germany with full right to work. We cannot sponsor visas or support relocation at this time.

Why Doodle?

  • Real Impact: Your commits change how the world meets.
  • Technical Stretch: We deal with "Time" problems most companies never meet. It is a masterclass in distributed logic.
  • Modern Tooling: We give you the best AI and agentic tools, and we expect you to use them.
  • Culture of Trust: We value curiosity, autonomy, and a balance that respects your time as much as our users'.

Hiring Journey

  • Initial Application Review
  • Technical Interview (based on Home Assignment)
  • Exec Interview
  • HR Interview (BRYQ Assessment)
  • Final Offer & Reference Check

At Doodle, we're committed to providing an environment of mutual trust and respect, where equal employment opportunities (EEO) are available to all applicants and teammates without regard to age, race, color, disability, religion, gender, and sexual orientation. Diversity and inclusion are of utmost importance to us. We're committed to building a team that represents a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills. The more inclusive we are, the better our work and our products will be. We want to hear from you, so please don't hesitate to apply! We look forward to receiving your full application.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please note that we can only consider your application if you are based and have the right to work in Germany. At this time, we are unable to sponsor a visa for this position or support with relocation.

Senior Frontend Engineer, AI Product UX

Stacksync - Integration Cloud

Munichfulltimesenior

Apply on the employer's site

Role description

What Makes this Role Different

Most AI products help individuals save minutes. Stacksync helps companies run their operations. Our enterprise AI is built on years of expertise in connectors, syncs, and workflow orchestration, allowing businesses to automate the processes that directly impact e-commerce, supply chain, logistics, operations.

Under the hood, the product handles deep technical infrastructure: asynchronous jobs, data mappings, approvals, errors, retries, and multi-system orchestration.

Your job is to make that
complexity disappear
.

What You Will Do

  • Design and build polished frontend experiences for enterprise AI agents and workflows.
  • Translate complex backend states into simple, predictable user flows. You will dive deep into our backend capabilities to truly understand how our AI agents work, and then distill those complex flows into frictionless user journeys.
  • Partner directly with the founders to turn prioritized product directions into polished frontend experiences, owning the UX details, interaction design, frontend architecture, implementation, and iteration.
  • React + IBM Carbon components.

You Might Be a Great Fit If

  • You are a senior frontend engineer, with exceptional UX instincts and product taste.
  • You can understand complex technical systems and turn them into simple product experiences.
  • You are comfortable working without perfect specs and can make strong product decisions independently.
  • You move fast, communicate clearly, and care deeply about attention to details.
  • You care about hierarchy, loading states, empty states, error states, edge cases, and micro-interactions. This is an Enterprise product, not a vibe coded UI full of bugs.
  • You have experience working with these enterprise systems (CRM, ERP, etc)

Role description

At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.

We're hiring Software Engineers for our Data Platform team to build and evolve Snowflake's real-time stream processing and data transformation platform. If you've built or researched high-throughput streaming systems or scalable transformation engines - in industry or graduate work - we want to talk.

AS A SOFTWARE ENGINEER, DATA PLATFORM AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:

  • Design and implement low-latency stream processing and in-flight data transformation systems at global scale
  • Own correctness and performance of streaming execution (watermarks, exactly-once delivery, out-of-order handling)
  • Build transformation primitives and operators that run reliably at cloud-scale throughput
  • Contribute to architectural decisions for our next-generation streaming and transformation platform
  • Write production-quality systems code and collaborate across product and engineering teams

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field — graduate research in streaming, distributed systems, or query/transformation engines is a strong differentiator
  • Deep distributed systems fundamentals: fault tolerance, consistency, state management
  • Hands-on or experience with stream processing or transformation systems (Flink, Kafka Streams, Spark Structured Streaming, or similar)
  • Proficiency in Java, Scala, C++, or Python
  • Familiarity with AI-native software engineering and agentic development workflows

BONUS POINTS FOR:

  • Published research or thesis in streaming, real-time transformation, or distributed computation
  • Experience with stream processing engine internals (e.g., state backends, checkpointing, runtime, or operator development) in systems like Apache Flink, Spark Structured Streaming, or similar.
  • Experience with SQL engine internals: query optimization, execution plan design, storage formats, or transaction layers
  • Familiarity with Spec Driven Development (SDD) and Test Driven Development (TDD)
  • Familiarity with formal verification

Snowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We are looking for people who share our values, challenge ordinary thinking, and push the pace of innovation while building a future for themselves and Snowflake.
