Launchmetrics

Remoteother

Apply on the employer's site

Role description

This role welcomes full remote or hybrid work arrangements. However,
applicants must be based in Spain, Italy, France or Romania and have a work permit to be considered.
About Launchmetrics
Launchmetrics is the leading Brand Performance Cloud used by Fashion, Lifestyle and Beauty (FLB) executives to make smarter decisions around their branding efforts.

With over a decade of industry expertise, we have helped more than 1,200 customers create inspiring, impactful and measurable experiences.

Founded in NYC and with operating headquarters in Paris, we have employees in ten markets worldwide and offer support in five languages. We have been the trusted brand performance technology to brands worldwide such as Dior, Fendi, Shiseido, NET-A-PORTER and Adidas as well as industry partners like IMG, the Council of Fashion Designers of America, the British Fashion Council, and Camera Nazionale Della Moda Italiana.

The Team & the Pods organization
We are a team of passionate engineers distributed across the world, always eager to learn new things. We are building state-of-the-art modern applications and scale it on the cloud. We innovate to solve customers problems, focusing on high-performance implementations without neglecting the user experience.

We recently moved our Product and Tech teams to a pod model, and it changes the shape of this job in ways worth understanding before you apply.

  • A pod is a small group, 1 to 4 people, that owns a single mission end to end: from scoping and building through cleaning, enablement and watching adoption. Pods form around a mission and dissolve when it's done. Everyone can be a pod owner, from the most junior person to the most senior, because ownership is the point.
  • Your domain is your product-area home, the part of our software suite you know best. Pods change with every mission; your craft and your domain don't.

The role
The Launch Domain (Samples And Events) Builds The Operational Platforms Brands Rely On To Run Their Collection Launches And Their In-person Moments. The Team Owns

  • Events, the platform behind the world's most important fashion shows: it handles the planning (seating and floor plans, invitee lists, invitations) and the live logistics, checking in over a million attendees every season
  • Samples, the tooling brands use to manage and track their physical assets across a launch, so the right pieces reach the right influencers and celebrities and fewer opportunities, and fewer samples, are lost.

You'll work on a system built for scale and reliability under real-world pressure, where the roadmap is pushing toward Enterprise customers, new event types beyond the runway (store openings, exclusive dinners, parties), deeper integration with clients' enterprise systems, and hundreds of people collaborating on a single event.

What you'll do

  • Build and maintain back-end systems using the latest versions of PHP, MySQL, and the Laravel framework.
  • Develop and maintain front-end components and features using React, and implement efficient bundling/building processes using Esbuild, Vite or equivalent tools.
  • Collaborate with the design and product teams to deliver user-friendly interfaces and ensure seamless user experiences.
  • Design, develop, and maintain APIs to support front-end functionalities and ensure high performance and responsiveness.
  • Perform code reviews, write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, and actively participate in problem-solving and architectural decisions with the rest of the team.
  • Write and maintain unit tests for both front-end and back-end code to ensure code quality, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Monitor and maintain the tech stack and dependencies using npm & composer, ensuring their stability, security, and efficiency.
  • Keep documentation up to date, ensuring clear and comprehensive information for the codebase, APIs, and system architecture.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code) as a core part of the daily workflow — from scaffolding and refactors to test generation and documentation — while maintaining full ownership and critical review of anything AI-generated before it ships.
  • Build and maintain reusable "skills" / prompt playbooks / agent workflows that encode team conventions, architectural patterns, and coding standards, so AI tooling produces consistent, production-ready output across the team.
  • Continuously evaluate and help define internal AI usage standards (code review criteria for AI-assisted PRs, guardrails for sensitive data in prompts, approved tools and models) to keep velocity gains from becoming technical debt or security risk.

Technical Stack

  • Languages: PHP 8+, TypeScript, Javascript
  • Frameworks: Laravel, React, Doctrine
  • Database: Mysql 8+
  • Cloud providers: Amazon
  • Tools: Github, Jira, Figma, ESLint, ESBuild, Vite, webpack, npm, composer, storybook, Claude Code
  • Versioning tool: Github
  • CI/CD: Github actions, Docker, Jenkins
  • Testing: PHPUnit, Jest

What we're looking for

  • Engineer Degree / Master Degree in Computer Science and a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in full-stack development in a SaaS environment
  • Proficiency in back-end development using PHP and MySQL 8, working with the Laravel framework as well as the capability to interpret and understand logical sequences within procedural or object-oriented code, whether abstracted or static, and to comprehend it thoroughly.
  • Demonstrated experience using AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code or similar) to accelerate delivery — including writing effective prompts/specs, building reusable skills or workflows, and rigorously reviewing AI-generated code for correctness, security, and maintainability before it ships.
  • Experience in optimizing and building projects using modern bundling tools such as vite, Esbuild, webpack, or similar.
  • Ability to write clean, efficient, secure and scalable code while following industry best practices.
  • Experienced with RESTful API design and integration practices to facilitate communication between front-end and back-end systems.
  • Bright, energetic, highly motivated self-starter with experience in a fast-paced, results-oriented organization
  • Ability to adapt, estimate workload, break down a task into logical steps, solve problems, self-improve and suggest new ways of improvement
  • Genuine care about the long-term maintainability of the codebase and advocate for refactoring and clean-ups when appropriate
  • Last, but definitely not least: you speak, read, and write English fluently

How we hire

  • Intro call with Talent Acquisition, to get to know each other (30 min).
  • Technical Interview, a live interview with a couple of Software Engineers.
  • Meet & Greet with VP Software Development.
  • Team fit with the engineers and peers you'd build alongside.

Why you'll love it here
We're a company that puts people first, with a relaxed but genuinely dynamic atmosphere and a team of motivated, curious people who like their work. Autonomy is real here: pods make local decisions and own their outcomes, which means you'll see your fingerprints on the product quickly.

You'll get a learning and development allowance, a benefits package tailored to your location, flexible working arrangements with support to set up your home office, and the room to grow along whichever path fits you. We're remote-friendly, with hubs across our twelve markets.

Our Commitment
Launchmetrics is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer building a diverse and inclusive workforce. If there is anything extra we can do to help you feel at ease during your interview process, please let the PeopleOps team member you’ll be meeting with know.
