Role description

Social Discovery Group (SDG) is a group of social discovery companies. SDG solves the problems of loneliness, isolation, and disconnection - transforming virtual intimacy into the new normal. SDG’s products redefine the way people interact and connect with one another.

Our portfolio includes social entertainment platforms designed to connect people online across different cultures and regions of the world.

We bring together a team of like-minded people and IT professionals who specialize in creating and developing globally impactful social discovery products. Our international team of digital nomads works remotely from all over the world.

We’re proud to be a two-time “Great Place to Work” winner (USA & Japan, 2024–2025) and a Top-5 Company for Work-From-Anywhere Jobs (FlexJobs, 2025).

We are looking for a
Senior UA Manager (Facebook, Web + App)
.

Your Main Tasks Will Be

  • Own Facebook UA for web + app funnels across our core dating portfolio (e.g., Dating.com / DateMyAge and similar products), with a primary focus on USA + Tier-1.
  • Plan, launch, optimise, and scale campaigns (typical monthly spend per channel is in the $200k–$300k+ range, with growth ambitions).
  • Build and maintain account/BM structures and operational hygiene (tracking setup, domains, whitelists, payment flow, basic infrastructure).
  • Run a structured creative testing loop: hypotheses → iterations → learning → scaling.
  • Drive automation improvements (rules / scripts / integrations with 3rd-party automation tools) and document best practices to scale the channel reliably.

We Expect From You

  • Senior hands-on Facebook UA background (web/B2C), with proven experience in the USA + Tier-1 (CIS-only experience is not a fit).
  • Budget ownership at $100k+/month level (ideally closer to $200k+/month), with clear performance thinking (CPA/ROAS/LTV, scaling logic).
  • Strong grasp of Facebook best practices (structure, scaling, bidding, measurement, troubleshooting) and readiness for a role that is ~70–80% execution / ~20–30% channel leadership.
  • Experience (or solid exposure) to automation + a practical understanding of AI/creative iteration workflows.

What Do We Offer

  • REMOTE OPPORTUNITY to work full-time;
  • The initial pay level or pay range for this role will be shared with candidates during the recruitment process and before the commencement of employment;
  • Vacation 28 calendar days per year;
  • 7 wellness days per year (time off) that can be used to deal with household issues, to lie down and recover without taking sick leave;
  • Bonuses up to $5000 for recommending successful applicants for positions in the company;
  • 50% payment for professional training, international conferences, and meetings;
  • Corporate discount for English lessons;
  • Health benefits. According to the paychecks, if you are not eligible for corporate medical insurance, the company will compensate you with up to $ 1,000 gross per year per employee. This can be spent on self-purchase of health insurance or on doctor’s fees for yourself and close relatives (spouse, children);
  • Workplace organization. The company provides all employees with an equipped workplace and all the necessary equipment (table, armchair, wifi, etc.) in our offices or co-working locations. In the other locations, the company provides reimbursement of workplace costs up to $ 1000 gross once every 3 years, according to the paychecks. This money can be spent on the rent of the co-working room, on equipping the working place at home (desk, chair, Internet, etc.) during those 3 years;
  • Internal gamified gratitude system: receive bonuses from colleagues and exchange them for our merchandise, team building activities, massage certificates, etc.

Our diverse product offering includes intelligent solar inverters, battery storage, backup systems, EV charging, and complete home energy management ecosystems. With world-class engineering and a relentless focus on innovation, we are creating a world where clean, green energy from the sun powers our homes, businesses, and communities.

Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to own and evolve our AWS cloud infrastructure, drive our FinOps discipline, and ensure our systems are scalable, secure, and cost-efficient. This is a hands-on role with real ownership — you will architect solutions, automate operations, and work closely with R&D teams to deliver reliable infrastructure that powers SolarEdge products worldwide. We offer a
hybrid
model of work -
two days at the office
.

AWS Cloud Infrastructure
**Design, build, and maintain scalable, highly available AWS infrastructure across multi-account environments.**

  • Own core AWS services including EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM, Route53, CloudFront, and CloudWatch
  • Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform — reusable modules, remote state, workspaces, and policy-as-code.
  • Architect secure, well-governed AWS environments using Organizations, SCPs, and Control Tower patterns.
  • Ensure infrastructure security through IAM least-privilege policies, VPC design, encryption, and compliance controls.

FinOps & Cloud Cost Management
Own the FinOps practice: implement cost tagging strategies, enforce resource governance, and deliver regular cost visibility reports.
Identify and execute on rightsizing, Reserved Instance, and Savings Plan optimization opportunities.

Build budget alerting, cost anomaly detection, and automated guardrails to prevent cloud spend overruns.

Work with engineering teams to embed cost-awareness into architecture and development decisions.

Kubernetes & Containerization

  • Provision, operate, and maintain EKS clusters for production and non-production workloads.
  • Provision, operate, and maintain On-Prem Rancher cluster and non-production workloads
  • Manage Helm chart deployments, configure autoscaling (HPA/VPA/Karpenter), and enforce RBAC and network policies.
  • Support containerization efforts and ensure Docker best practices across development and production environments.

CI/CD & Automation

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab, integrating automated testing, SAST/SCA scanning, and deployment gates.
  • Automate operational tasks — provisioning, patching, scaling, backups, and incident remediation — using Python and Bash.

Observability & Reliability

  • Build and maintain the observability stack: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, and alerting pipelines.
  • Define and monitor SLOs/SLIs, own incident response runbooks, and contribute to post-mortem culture.
  • Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, reliability risks, and security gaps.

Requirements:

Must-Have

  • 3–5 years of hands-on DevOps or cloud engineering experience in production AWS environments.
  • Strong AWS expertise: EC2, EKS, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, Cost Explorer — with the ability to design end-to-end solutions.
  • Proven Terraform skills: writing modules, managing state, and enforcing infrastructure standards.
  • Demonstrated FinOps experience: cost tagging, rightsizing, and budget governance.
  • Hands-on Kubernetes experience: EKS, On-prem rancher rke2, Helm, RBAC, autoscaling, Vault and network policies.
  • CI/CD pipeline experience with GitLab or equivalent; familiarity with SAST/SCA tooling.
  • Scripting proficiency in Python and/or Bash for automation and operational tooling.
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals: DNS, load balancing, VPC peering, TLS.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with ArgoCD, GitOps workflows, or progressive delivery strategies.
  • Familiarity with Pulumi or AWS CDK as IaC alternatives.
  • Exposure to DevSecOps practices: secrets management (Vault, AWS Secrets Manager), container image scanning, and compliance-as-code.
  • AWS certifications: Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or FinOps Practitioner (FinOps Foundation).
  • Experience with observability tooling: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or OpenTelemetry.
  • Interest in GenAI-powered automation and developer tooling.

SolarEdge recognizes its talented and diverse workforce as a key competitive advantage. Our business success is a reflection of the quality and skill of our people.

SolarEdge is committed to seeking out and retaining the finest human talent to ensure top business growth and performance.

Only short-listed candidates will be contacted.
