Software Engineer

EFI is seeking an
R&D Software Engineer
to join our software and hardware development team based in Italy. This is a
hybrid role
, offering a flexible combination of on‑site and remote work.

As part of our software development group and in close collaboration with cross‑functional teams, you will be responsible for developing applications and enhancing the printing software.

What You Will Do

• Work with R&D teams for collecting requirements from stakeholders
• Design and develop desktop applications using C# (.NET), C++
• Maintain and improve existing application
• Define and share specifications for the new applications
• Participate in the design of testing plans

This role might be a good fit if you have:

• Degree in computer engineering
• 3+ years of experience in software design and development
• Knowledge of C# (.NET), C++
• Knowledge of Windows, networking
• Good ability to communicate in Italian and English
• Excellent analysis and synthesis skills, oriented to problem solving
• Excellent ability to work both independently and in areas of international teams

Skills That Will Be Considered a Plus

• Digital printing technologies
• Digital image processing
• Database programming: SQL, Entity Framework
• RESTful APIs and JSON data processing
• Knowledge of the hardware electronics
