Role description

The SW Integration Test Engineer is directly responsible for the technical integrity, code quality, and successful L3 validation and verification of assigned automotive features. The engineer is expected to spend a significant portion of their time on feature automation & test benches (SIL/HIL) to ensure L3 test coverage meets feature requirements and end-user needs.

  • Defines and implements the end-to-end validation & verification strategy for assigned features, covering both manual and automated testing approaches to be executed across all vehicle programs supported, as well as the test boundaries definition (with the Test Interface engineer), required test environment configurations, and definition of critical test cases necessary to achieve comprehensive test coverage.
  • 4 days on site in GTBC Ford México (Naucalpan, México)
  • Reviews feature requirements and vehicle architecture documentation to design comprehensive L3 test cases to cover all feature requirements including edge cases and system-level integration.
  • Executes automated and manual tests across the full spectrum of environments, including SIL (Software-in-the-Loop), HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop), and Vehicle.
  • Develops and implements automated test cases as robust, reliable, and maintainable code.
  • Analyzes results, debugs test code, and performs root cause analysis when tests fail to identify whether the defect resides in the software or the test environment.
  • Leads the refactoring of test cases & test code and the enhancement of test case design to ensure the test suite remains robust and does not become "brittle" or outdated.
  • Manage the feature-specific test suite & test cases attributes for effective test management and creation of test runs required to support feature testing across relevant vehicle programs and defined test milestones.
  • Validates software fixes through targeted re-testing and regression execution for critical or complex feature sets.
  • Actively feeds requirements back to the Core Automation tools organization and maintains a deep understanding of the automation framework's inner workings to troubleshoot setup, configuration, and library compatibility issues.

Minimum Requirements
We are seeking candidates who meet the following minimum qualifications:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field of study.
  • 3+ years of experience developing and managing all test assets, including test plans, test cases, and both automated and manual test scripts.
  • Demonstrable proficiency in an object-oriented programming language such as Python or C++.
  • Strong experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), including branching and merging strategies.
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
  • Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks (preferably Pytest, Behave).
  • Experience with electrical schematics for vehicle components and systems and the electrical architectures of distributed systems.
  • Experience in bench testing of distributed electrical systems (Electrical System Engineering), including functional integration, test execution, measurement and instrumentation, and incident reporting.
  • Experience with embedded controller networks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) and the use of diagnostic and communication tools to troubleshoot distributed vehicle systems (e.g., CANoe, CANalyzer).

Nice To Have
We will give preference to candidates who possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) simulation and testing platforms (e.g., dSPACE, Vector VT System, NI VeriStand).
  • Experience in performance testing of embedded systems, including measuring CPU load, memory usage, boot time, and network bus utilization.
  • Familiarity with software security testing principles and techniques (e.g., fuzz testing CAN/Ethernet traffic, SAST/DAST).
  • Working knowledge of Electronic Control Modules (ECUs) and Automotive Embedded Systems.
  • Proficiency with testing and defect management tools, such as JIRA and TestRail.
  • Deep experience with analyzing system logs and performing root cause analysis.
  • Effective Communication: Clear and concise spoken and written communication skills, critical for daily interaction with users across the SE&V organization.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Proven ability to work with cross-functional development and validation teams, demonstrating strong networking, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
  • Problem Solving: A high tolerance for ambiguity and a proven ability to solve complex engineering problems.

MISIÓN / OBJETIVO

Coordinar y administrar integralmente los procesos de certificación, recertificación, pruebas regulatorias, pruebas gremiales y validaciones operativas asociadas al Sistema de Pagos Electrónicos Interbancarios (SPEI) como participante SPEI, asegurando el cumplimiento oportuno de los requerimientos establecidos por Banco de México y la adecuada participación de las áreas internas, proveedores tecnológicos y participantes del sistema financiero.

Contribuir a la evolución y estabilidad de los servicios de pagos mediante la planeación, seguimiento y control de pruebas, certificaciones e iniciativas asociadas a SPEI y SPEI 2.0, asegurando la implementación eficiente de cambios regulatorios y tecnológicos, minimizando riesgos operativos y fortaleciendo las capacidades institucionales para soportar la continuidad y crecimiento del negocio.

FUNCIONES DE PUESTO

  • Coordinar la ejecución de certificaciones, recertificaciones y pruebas regulatorias requeridas por Banco de México para la participación en SPEI.
  • Planear y coordinar el ciclo integral de certificaciones, recertificaciones y validaciones regulatorias, desde la definición del cronograma hasta la liberación a producción.
  • Administrar el calendario anual de pruebas regulatorias, gremiales, funcionales, integrales y de contingencia relacionadas con SPEI.
  • Coordinar la participación de áreas internas, proveedores tecnológicos y participantes externos involucrados en procesos de certificación.
  • Dar seguimiento a los resultados de pruebas, identificando desviaciones, riesgos y oportunidades de mejora.
  • Consolidar y documentar evidencias, resultados y entregables requeridos durante los procesos de certificación y validación.
  • Asegurar el cumplimiento en tiempo y forma de los requerimientos establecidos por Banco de México para certificaciones y recertificaciones.
  • Participar en la implementación de cambios regulatorios emitidos por Banco de México relacionados con SPEI.
  • Validar la correcta ejecución de pruebas antes de la liberación de cambios a producción.
  • Dar seguimiento a compromisos, planes de trabajo y actividades derivadas de iniciativas regulatorias y tecnológicas.
  • Coordinar reuniones de seguimiento para asegurar la preparación y ejecución exitosa de certificaciones y pruebas regulatorias.
  • Identificar riesgos operativos asociados a certificaciones, recertificaciones y procesos de implementación regulatoria.
  • Ejecutar controles operativos asociados a los procesos de prueba y validación de SPEI.
  • Generar información ejecutiva para la Gerencia y Dirección de Sistemas de Pagos sobre el avance de iniciativas regulatorias y proyectos SPEI.
  • Identificar oportunidades para optimizar procesos de certificación, pruebas y validaciones regulatorias.
  • Participar en iniciativas de automatización y mejora de procesos relacionadas con SPEI.

LICENCIATURA en SISTEMAS o TECNOLOGÍAS DE LA INFORMACIÓN

INGENIERÍA en ECONÓMICO - ADMINISTRATIVA o AFÍN

MAESTRÍA/CERTIFICACIONES

Objetivo
Asegurar el correcto control de calidad microbiológico de ingredientes de proceso, graneles y producto terminado, mediante la ejecución de análisis de acuerdo con las políticas y procedimientos Wella, asegurando el cumplimiento de los estándares de calidad, los lineamientos de la norma ISO 22716, GLP, así como las regulaciones vigentes aplicables.   • Realizar los análisis microbiológicos a los sistemas críticos, graneles y productos terminados siguiendo los métodos de análisis indicados en las especificaciones, reportando los resultados con veracidad, legibilidad y contemporaneidad en los formatos y sistemas correspondientes.
  • Reportar e investigar los resultados fuera de especificación o incumplimiento durante el proceso de análisis o seguimiento.
  • Manejar los equipos de laboratorio, siguiendo los manuales y/o procedimientos de operación, verificando la calibración correspondiente, realizar las verificaciones y limpieza programadas a equipos. Reportar las necesidades de mantenimiento preventivo y correctivo de estos equipos.
  • Controlar los estándares y muestras de retención a su cargo, siguiendo las buenas prácticas de laboratorio.
  • Asegurar la recolección de muestras de análisis y retención de producto terminado en áreas de empaque, según aplique.
  • Realizar las actividades administrativas del área, actualización de procedimientos, seguimiento a actividades de auditorías internas a laboratorios del área de procesos y capacitaciones.
  • Cumplir con las buenas prácticas de laboratorio, seguridad y mantenimiento de estándares 5’s.
  • Capacitación y apoyo como analista integral en otras áreas de Calidad.
  • Reportar en tiempo los resultados de producto terminado para su liberación y disposición en los centros de distribución.
  • Fomentar la cultura de Seguridad y dar cumplimiento a los requisitos que apliquen en su área del estándar ISO 45001 “Gestión de Seguridad y Salud en el trabajo”.
  • Fomentar la cultura de Calidad y dar cumplimiento a las buenas prácticas de manufactura de acuerdo con el estándar ISO 22716 dentro de su área.

The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end QA execution, including designing, planning, and executing both manual and automated tests for backend validation. The role requires ensuring product quality across functional, performance, and security requirements.

The individual will manage the complete defect lifecycle, including identifying, logging, tracking, and validating defects. They will provide actionable insights, root cause analysis, and quality reports to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Working within an Agile environment, the candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams during sprint planning, ATDD sessions, and UAT activities. They will contribute to user story refinement, effort estimation, and quality assurance throughout the software development lifecycle.

The role also involves enhancing and maintaining automation frameworks while leveraging tools such as ReadyAPI, SQL, PractiTest, and AI-driven testing techniques to improve testing efficiency and coverage. Strong hands-on experience with Playwright automation is required, along with excellent English communication skills.

Additionally, the candidate should possess strong backend and API testing expertise, analytical problem-solving skills, and preferably domain knowledge within the life insurance industry.
