TÄTIGKEITSBESCHREIBUNG:

  • Fachliche Weiterentwicklung der End-of-Line-Testsoftware sowie Definition einer klaren Produktvision und Roadmap
  • Aufnahme, Bewertung und Priorisierung von Anforderungen aus Produktion, Qualität, R&D und weiteren Fachbereichen sowie Pflege eines strukturierten Product Backlogs
  • Formulierung von User Stories und Akzeptanzkriterien sowie enge Begleitung der Umsetzung in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Entwicklungsteam
  • Planung, Steuerung und Begleitung neuer Funktionen und Product Releases – von der Idee bis zur erfolgreichen Einführung in der Produktion
  • Analyse bestehender Prozesse und Ableitung von Optimierungsmassnahmen zur Steigerung von Qualität, Effizienz und Benutzerfreundlichkeit

PROFIL:

  • Abgeschlossene Ausbildung oder Studium in Informatik, Wirtschaftsinformatik, Ingenieurwissenschaften oder einer vergleichbaren Fachrichtung
  • Mehrjährige Erfahrung als Product Owner, Requirements Engineer, Business Analyst oder in einer vergleichbaren Rolle im Softwareumfeld
  • Fundiertes Verständnis von Softwareentwicklungsprozessen und agilen Methoden (z. B. Scrum)
  • Ausgeprägte Kommunikations- und Moderationsfähigkeiten sowie Freude daran, unterschiedliche Stakeholder zusammenzubringen und tragfähige Lösungen zu entwickeln
  • Strukturierte, analytische und eigenverantwortliche Arbeitsweise sowie eine rasche Auffassungsgabe und ein gutes technisches Verständnis, ergänzt durch sehr gute Deutsch- und gute Englischkenntnisse

Job Description

We’re looking for a Senior Technical Consultant SAP Integration to join our SAP Technology team in Zurich. In this strategic assignment, you'll play a critical role of developing and managing complex integration projects, while ensuring the performance, stability, and security of SAP integrations. The Senior Technical Consultant SAP Integration shall report to the SAP Integration lead and work in synergy with SAP Development and SAP Basis workstreams, as well as other SAP functional teams.

As a Senior Technical Consultant SAP Integration, you will:

  • Design, develop, and manage integration architectures using SAP Integration Suite, SAP PO/PI, API Management, and other relevant tools.
  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to define integration requirements and ensure end-to-end solution consistency.
  • Ensure smooth operations of all integration interfaces and resolve complex issues in a timely manner.
  • Drive the adoption of integration best practices, security standards, and performance optimization techniques.
  • Support and mentor a other team members, providing technical guidance and reviewing deliverables.
  • Support project delivery teams in integration-related tasks throughout the system development lifecycle.
  • Heavily contribute to the cloud adoption journey of SIKA in the integration space.
  • Stay current with SAP’s latest integration technologies and trends (e.g., Event Mesh, BTP, APIs, CDS Views).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

  • 8+ years of experience with SAP integration technologies.

  • Strong hands-on experience in:

    • SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, API Management)
    • Experience with UDFs, Java or Groovy
    • SAP PI/PO (Process Integration/Orchestration)
    • Experience with OData, REST, SOAP APIs
    • Solid understanding of BTP (Business Technology Platform)
    • Event-driven architecture and event brokers (SAP event mesh, AEM is a plus)
    • Experience with IDoc, RFC, ALE, EDI and other SAP integration standards/protocols
    • Solid understanding of cloud and hybrid integration scenarios.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
    • Fluent in English. Spanish and German are a plus.
    • SAP certification in Integration Suite or similar is a differentiator.

Deine Aufgaben und Verantwortlichkeiten

Dein Profil

  • Du verfügst über eine technische Grundausbildung als Polymechaniker, Automatiker, Elektroniker, Mechatroniker oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation und hast diese idealerweise mit einer Weiterbildung auf Stufe HF oder FH in Systemtechnik, Maschinenbau, Elektrotechnik, Automation oder einem verwandten Fachgebiet ergänzt
  • Industrielle Bildverarbeitung und optische Inspektionssysteme sind dir bestens vertraut und du bringst vorzugsweise eine fachspezifische Weiterbildung in diesem Bereich mit

Join us to explore how AI is transforming weather and energy forecasting. In this internship, you will work with modern weather models, build data solutions, and contribute your ideas in a collaborative and international environment.

What you will do:

  • Put cutting-edge AI weather models to the test and evaluate their value for energy forecasting
  • Build data pipelines and tools to process, analyze, and visualize weather forecast data
  • Support the daily operations of the meteorology desk, including weather briefings, forecast monitoring, and ad-hoc analyses
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to further develop innovative forecasting solutions
  • Analyze forecast data and translate findings into clear insights and recommendations
  • Contribute your own ideas and support continuous improvement of workflows and tools

What you bring & who you are:

  • Ongoing or completed BSc or MSc in Data Science, Computer Science, Environmental Science, Meteorology, or a similar field
  • Proficiency in Python and experience working with NetCDF and GRIB data formats
  • Foundational knowledge of deep learning, ideally with PyTorch, and an understanding of transformer and graph neural network architectures
  • Interest in meteorology and atmospheric science, including familiarity with the AI weather model landscape
  • Ideally, first experience with forecast verification, backtesting, fine-tuning, or downscaling models
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills with fluent English, both written and spoken
