Position Summary

Achieve assigned objectives within our quality systems and product quality areas to improve value in our products. Provide support to development and implementation teams in translating and integrating new or improved products. Apply knowledge of our products and processes to help resolve manufacturing and design problems. Assess our product quality to ensure quality expectations are being met and that negative trends are addressed. Assess suppliers’ quality systems and products to minimize risk of shipping non-conforming product to Energizer. Recommend and drive changes to sustain and improve our quality competencies and capabilities.

Responsibilities

Universal Accountabilities

  • Accountable for quality metrics impacted by their team within a product category team.
  • Adapts and prioritizes own work based on technology work plan (TWP) or functional plans.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Energizer Quality Management System.
  • Apply quality principles and design intent knowledge of products for improvements to current processes, suppliers, and quality systems.
  • Identify trends or concerns from data reviews that relate to underlying systems or process issues.
  • Participate and/or lead teams for projects related to improving products, suppliers and equipment for cost savings, supply assurance or reliability improvement.
  • Participate in and lead risk assessment activities and ensure proper Change Management protocols are followed.
  • Lead and coordinate problem solving efforts encountered by operations or suppliers that impact the quality/reliability of our products.
  • Communicate product, supplier, and performance issues within the category quality team and in applicable cross-functional reviews
  • Support new product development projects to meet identified time/cost/performance objectives.
  • Instruct, train and mentor in the application of various Quality tools & methods

Specific Accountabilities

  • Directed quality management activities for internal manufacturing operations in the UK and third-party manufacturers in Europe
  • Lead the audit process and conduct/ follow up on internal and supplier on-site audits, self-audits, technical audits, process audits and launch readiness reviews.
  • Address customer complaints utilizing problem solving methodologies and coordination capabilities; Drive to true root cause and implement robust corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence of issues
  • Improve quality systems (such as process documentation, change management, calibration, in-process quality control, raw material quality, trace-ability systems, and post-production testing) for internal and third-party manufacturers
  • Follow, implement, and monitor quality policies to verify the results for effectiveness. Assist in driving improvements in the policies and policy compliance.
  • Facilitate the product approval process to verify the product/ material meet the design inputs.
  • Provide training/coaching to internal cross-function team and suppliers as needed to improve current and needed capabilities to meet Energizer needs.
  • Monitor and improve supplier performance; lead supplier improvement plans.

May also perform additional duties as assigned

What we are looking for

Required Skills and Experience

  • 5-8 years’ experience in Quality or Supplier Development
  • Bachelor’s degree required – Engineering, Science, Management
  • Experience in ISO9001 and other equal quality management system
  • Experience in managing domestic and oversea suppliers
  • Strong analytical, coordination, problem solving, audit and project management skills via quality tools (8D, FMEA, SPC, MSA, etc)
  • Experience in manufacturing environments addressing internal and/or supplier operations to improve performance, expand capability, increase capacity, and lower costs.
  • Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language to all levels in the organization

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Progressive accountabilities and relevant experience with consumer goods and high-speed manufacturing.

Apoyar al área de Procesos de Negocio en el análisis, diseño, documentación y mejora de procesos operativos, asegurando que las iniciativas del área se ejecuten de forma ordenada, clara y alineada a las necesidades del negocio.

El rol tiene un fuerte componente operativo, pero también requiere criterio para proponer mejoras, priorizar iniciativas y servir como punto de conexión entre negocio, operaciones y tecnología.

Responsabilidades principales:

1. Análisis y documentación de procesos

  • Levantar información con diferentes áreas internas (Operaciones, Tecnología, Cumplimiento, Legal, Comercial, Finanzas).
  • Documentar procesos actuales y futuros (As-Is / To-Be).
  • Elaborar diagramas, flujos y documentación de procesos y reglas de negocio.
  • Identificar cuellos de botella, riesgos operativos y oportunidades de mejora.

2. Diseño y creación de workflows

  • Diseñar y mantener workflows operativos para la gestión o automatización de procesos.
  • Crear y actualizar workflows en archivos JSON, incluyendo validaciones y reglas básicas.
  • Trabajar en conjunto con áreas técnicas para la implementación de estos flujos en sistemas internos.
  • Ejecutar pruebas funcionales y asegurar el correcto funcionamiento de los workflows.
  • Documentar la lógica y reglas de cada flujo.

3. Gestión y seguimiento de iniciativas

  • Dar seguimiento a planes de trabajo, tareas y pendientes del área.
  • Coordinar reuniones, preparar minutas y dar seguimiento a acuerdos.
  • Identificar dependencias con otras áreas y alertar riesgos o bloqueos.
  • Apoyar en la priorización de iniciativas de acuerdo con impacto y esfuerzo.

4. Gestión de procesos y mejora continua

  • Tratar los procesos y workflows como activos vivos del negocio, sujetos a mejora constante.
  • Proponer ajustes o mejoras con base en la operación diaria y necesidades del negocio.
  • Traducir requerimientos del negocio en definiciones claras para su implementación.
  • Dar seguimiento a cambios y asegurar que los procesos cumplan con el objetivo para el que fueron diseñados.

5. Análisis operativo y preparación de entregables

  • Analizar información relacionada con procesos, indicadores operativos y desempeño de flujos.
  • Preparar reportes, presentaciones y resúmenes ejecutivos para la gerencia.
  • Mantener control documental de las iniciativas del área.

6. Soporte operativo y colaboración transversal

  • Administrar repositorios, controles y documentación del área.
  • Colaborar con distintas áreas en temas relacionados con procesos y operación.
  • Asegurar alineación entre procesos, sistemas y requerimientos internos o regulatorios.

Competencias técnicas

  • Conocimientos en análisis y rediseño de procesos (BPM).
  • Experiencia en modelado de workflows y manejo de estructuras JSON.
  • Conocimientos básicos de automatización de procesos o flujos operativos.
  • Capacidad para entender requerimientos funcionales y llevarlos a procesos claros.
  • Manejo intermedio de Excel, PowerPoint, Word y herramientas de diagramación.
  • Deseable: nociones básicas de APIs, lógica condicional o integraciones.
  • Deseable: experiencia o familiaridad con la industria de pagos, fintech o servicios financieros.
