Sr. QA Tester (Payments)

Objective

• Be responsible for providing estimation in the demand process, definition of the business and IT level requirements in the delivery process.
• Coordinate functional solution alignments between development teams.
• Support all processes like Release Management Change Management, testing, and go live.

Activity

Definition

• Support customers in the analysis and definition of business needs and requirements, provide specifications and keep these updated.
• Ensure integrity and consistency of the end-to-end solution by detailing requirements and use cases across the different applications and services.
• Design and refine the end-to-end solution across application landscape and document business and IT requirements.
• Maintain an up-to-date product specification after implementation of changes.
• Verify requests with Product Management to be aligned with the product evolution strategy.

Project Management

• Gather IT cost estimates during project initiation.
• Improve and ensure project excellence.
• Manage project assignments and coordinate technical alignments across development teams.

Sales and Business Line Support

• Ensure customer satisfaction during the demand and delivery process and keep the requirements up to date.
• Build bridge between business (product, sales) and delivery teams with overarching views on the detailed requirements.
• Provide guidance and coaching to other team members and relevant stakeholders.

Learning and Development

• Ensure proper communication on detailed requirements and use-cases to the relevant stakeholders (especially towards delivery teams).
• Constantly maintain a good level of expertise and knowledge on the solution.

🚀 Définir et documenter la stratégie et les plans de test (votre superpouvoir secret) ! 🔧 Mettre en œuvre les prérequis à la qualification (installations, configurations, jeux de données… tout ce qu’il faut pour être au top !). 🤖 Développer des scénarios de tests automatisés sur de nouvelles fonctionnalités, les tester et les garder en mode “super fonctionnels” ! 🐞 Chasser les bugs avec vos outils magiques et suivre leur résolution comme un pro ! 📅 Participer aux réunions projets avec les MOE pour s’assurer que tout roule (et que personne ne se perd en chemin). 🔍 Faire de la veille sur la gestion de la qualité et l’innovation, vous êtes le/la Sherlock Holmes des outils de test !

Profil recherché(e) :
🎓 Vous avez fait une super école d’Ingénieur (ou autre formation top niveau en informatique) et avez au moins bac +5. 💻 Vous avez au moins 3 ans d’expérience en validation de logiciels, applications ou sites web (vous êtes un(e) ninja des tests !). 🔄 Vous maîtrisez les campagnes de tests comme personne (non-régression, charge, acceptation… vous êtes toujours prêt(e) à tester tout ce qui bouge !). 🧰 Vous utilisez des outils de génie comme Robot Framework, Squash TA et Postman. 🎖️ Vous êtes un(e) champion(ne) avec votre certification ISTQB (et ça, c’est du sérieux).

Job Description
Who You’ll Work With
Arista Networks is looking for world-class software engineers to join our
Software for Open Networking in the Cloud (SONiC)
software development team. As a core member of the SONiC team, you will be part of a fast-paced, high caliber team building and qualifying features to run the world's largest data center networks.

The SONiC team is responsible for all aspects of the development and delivery of SONiC software meant to run on various Arista switches. You will work with your fellow engineers and members of the marketing team to gather and understand the functional and technical requirements for upcoming projects. You will help write functional specifications, design specifications, test plans, and the code to bring all of these to life and work with the SONiC community to upstream the code/test changes. You will also work with customers to triage and fix problems in their networks. Internally, you will develop automated tests for your software, monitor the execution of those tests, and triage and fix problems found by your tests. At Arista, you will own your projects from definition to deployment, and you will be responsible for the quality of everything you deliver.

What You’ll Do
This role demands strong and broad software engineering fundamentals, and ideally a good understanding of networking including capabilities like L2, L3, and fundamentals of commercial switching HW.

Responsibilities

• Write functional specifications and design specifications for system software to manage hardware components.
• Independently implement solutions to small-sized problems in the system software using the C, C++, and python programming languages.
• Write test plan specifications for small-sized features and implement automated test programs to execute the cases described in the test plan.
• Debug problems found by our automated test programs and fix the problems.
• Work on a team implementing, testing, and debugging solutions to larger routing protocol problems.
• Worth with Customer Support Engineers to analyze problems in customer networks and provide fixes for those problems when needed in the form of new software releases or software patches.
• Work with the System Test Engineers to analyze problems found in their tests and provide fixes for those problems.
• Mentor new and junior engineers to bring them up to speed in Arista’s software development environment as well as broader SONiC development.
• Review and contribute to the specifications and implementations written by other team members and the SONiC community.
• Help to create a schedule for the implementation and debugging tasks, update that schedule weekly, and report it to the project lead.

Qualifications

• BSc, MS or Ph.D. in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering with 2+ years of related post graduate work experience
• Knowledge of C, C++, and/or python.
• Knowledge of UNIX or Linux.
• Understanding of L2/L3 networking including at least one of the following areas is desirable:
• IP routing protocols, such as RIP, OSPF, BGP, IS-IS, or PIM.
• Layer 2 features such as 802.1d bridging, the 802.1d Spanning Tree Protocol, the 802.1ax Link Aggregation Control Protocol, the 802.1AB Link Layer Discovery Protocol, or RFC 1812 IP routing.
• Ability to utilize, test, and debug packet forwarding engine and a hardware component’s vendor provided software libraries in your solutions.
• Infrastructure functions related to distributed systems such as messaging, signaling, databases, and command line interface techniques.
• Hands-on experience in the design and development of ethernet bridging or routing related software or distributed systems software is desirable.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise or service provider class Ethernet switch/router system software development, or significant PhD level research in the area of network routing and packet forwarding is desirable.
• Applied understanding of software engineering principles.
• Strong problem solving and software troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to design a solution to a small-sized problem, and implement that solution without outside help. Able to work on a small team solving a medium-sized problem with limited oversight.

We are looking for an experienced Auotmation Tester to join our team, to work with cross country collegues and to shape the future of payments industry.

Day-to-day Responsibilities

• Development of Automation Tests in collaboration with colleagues in different countries
• Responsibility of full Automatio Test lifecycle
• Support and drive analysis and solution of new automation test cases based on requirements and bug fixes
• Module, Integration and E2E tests of the software modules in their specific environments
• Test Automation of the web GUIs as well MicroServices
• Test case creation including test requirements analysis, test case definition, test data creation, test execution and documentation in close consultation with development team
• Continuous improvement of automation test framework
• Creation and maintenance of consitent data sets in collaboration with other automation testers
• Maintenance of automation test environment on different technologies (Google Cloud, Internal Cloud)
• Defect logging, reporting and re-testing
• Monitoring of the automatic test sequences, including reporting to the development team
• Implement quality gates for Continuous Integration/Delivery

Who Are We Looking For

• Final degree (university or technical college) in software testing, software engineering or equivalent education
• At least four years of experience in software testing of which should be mimimum 2 years in test automation
• Knowledge of STLC, Agile Methodology, SOAP/REST,test automation using the Robot framework
• Experience in Selenium/ SoapUI, Python,Java, Jira, Confluence
• Basic Knowledge of SQL, Linux OS (shell scripting), Continuous Integration/Delivery
• Good to have know-how in Groovy, Gradle, Jenkins, Testlink, JMeter/Grinder, RPM, Puppet, Foreman, Git
• Experience on the version control tools like gitlab, github
• Exposure to CI-CD , dockerization
• Able to design the framework , suggest modification in the existing framework.
• Experience in fraud detection systems or Payment business major plus
• English business fluent
