As a
System Engineer – Cybersecurity
, you will define how the next generation of hypercars will work, feel, and perform, with a strong focus on securing vehicle systems and functionality. Working across the Electrical Engineering and Software departments, you will drive cybersecurity requirements and concepts throughout the vehicle development lifecycle, ensuring performance, safety, and resilience meet the highest standards of excellence.

Where you'll make an impact

  • Define system boundaries, interfaces, and vehicle-level cybersecurity requirements.
  • Develop secure system concepts and architectures using MBSE methodologies.
  • Capture, structure, and maintain cybersecurity and system requirements with full traceability.
  • Analyze stakeholder needs and derive technical cybersecurity requirements.
  • Specify cybersecurity requirements for ECUs and components across the E/E architecture.
  • Support hardware, software, and test teams with clear security requirements and interface definitions.
  • Drive cybersecurity verification and validation activities in the lab and vehicle.
  • Maintain cybersecurity documentation, architecture overviews, and interface specifications.

What are your core components

  • Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automotive, Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity, or similar.
  • Experience in automotive or embedded systems cybersecurity.
  • Strong understanding of automotive systems, vehicle architectures, and connected vehicle technologies.
  • Experience with requirements engineering and MBSE tools (DOORS, Jama, Polarion, SysML/UML).
  • Knowledge of automotive E/E architectures and ECU-based systems.
  • Experience with CAN, LIN, and automotive development toolchains.
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and ECU interfaces.
  • Experience with system-level debugging, threat analysis, or security validation activities.

Salary range: €37 500 – €57 500 gross per year (depending on experience)
