Job Description
About the role:
Experian is looking for a motivated Technical Analyst to join our team. You will work in DA Application Support contributing to customer service levels by providing 2nd line Technical and Business related product support to clients using the Experian Core DA product set. Your work will include dealing with live product configuration incidents (including investigate & resolve), system enhancements (requirements definition and implementation) and system optimizations.

You will be reporting to the EMEA Service Operations Manager.

What You'll Do

  • Provision of advanced support and consultancy for DA Clients, Experian Regional Delivery teams and Global functions to support achievement of their goals and service delivery within Service level agreement. This does not limit itself to system failure and may make general technical requests.
  • Ensure systems are available and performing following requirements including support of internal environments and systems.
  • Investigate complex production issues, recreating problems and utilising trace files and error diagnostics. Identify root cause and propose solutions.
  • Provide full permanent solutions and, as agreed with the client, temporary workarounds to restore service following Service level agreement. Thereby minimizing the impact to the client of system failure.
  • Ensure all system documentation is kept up to date and reflects any changes made
  • Communicate to all partners on the status and progress of the investigation with clear actions and timescales
  • Following business and contractual service commitments provide 24 x 7 application support as part of a team rotation.
  • Provide support to various clients and markets across the EMAP region.
  • Perform changes within the Technical Area ie: config, SQL queries, groovy scripts, etc.
  • Test Software releases following documented procedures and resolve any subsequent client queries.
  • Ensure quality and accuracy of own work by following Team procedures and processes.
  • Support and respect all team members.

Qualifications
What We're Looking For:

  • A creative and inquisitive mind, focused on solving data and analysing problems
  • Approximately 3 years of working experience in the field of application / customer support
  • Good SQL knowledge
  • Working in a client-facing role; attend client calls to resolve incidents or provide consultancy on client requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • IT Degree or equivalent certification/knowledge
  • Solid knowledge of application support (SQL, WINDOWS platforms)
  • Third party software understanding
  • Appreciate of relational database management systems (RDBMS) theory

Responsibilities

  • Report to the Messaging Value Stream Agile Master.
  • Provide second-line support for SMS, MMS, and SMS Firewall services.
  • Review internal and external operational processes in order to optimize repair efficiency.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and follow up on the implementation of improvement actions.
  • Be ready to lead the repair team squad by managing, steering, and coordinating team activities when required.
  • Follow up on network and service availability and quality, performing proactive and reactive maintenance actions.
  • Work closely with the Customer Care team to identify and resolve problems reported by customers.
  • Perform incident management activities as well as planned works.
  • Cooperate with vendors, monitor their performance, and ensure proper service delivery.
  • Participate in the implementation of new services and network rollout projects, in collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Take part in guard duty services.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in telecom, mainly in Messaging, Signaling, or Roaming areas (mobile telecommunications or international carrier telecom).
  • Familiarity with Telecom technologies and ITU/ETSI standards.
  • Good knowledge of SS7 / SIGTRAN, LTE, GSM call flows, and roaming scenarios.
  • Good operational knowledge of Linux.
  • Upper-intermediate level of English

Will be an advantage

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, IT, or ICT.
  • Experience with HTTPS (APIs), MMS, Kibana, or Openmind software.
  • Familiarity with DevOps concepts and tools (containers, Ansible, CI/CD, Splunk, Kubernetes, AWS, etc).
  • Knowledge of Docker.
  • Experience with IT tools and scripting, such as Splunk or Python.

We're looking for an
Associate, ServiceNow Engineer
to join our growing technology team and help drive the evolution of our ServiceNow platform. This role focuses on ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM), supporting the delivery of reliable, scalable and automated technology services across the organisation. You'll work with a modern ServiceNow environment, designing intelligent workflows, improving operational processes and developing integrations that enhance the employee experience and increase service efficiency. From Incident and Change Management to CMDB and Discovery, you'll play a key role in shaping how technology services are delivered and supported. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about the ServiceNow platform and wants to take ownership of impactful solutions while working in a collaborative, forward-thinking technology environment.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Configure, develop and enhance ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM capabilities, including Incident, Problem, Change, Event Management, Discovery and CMDB.
  • Design and optimise workflows that automate operational processes, improve service delivery and reduce manual effort.
  • Own the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of ServiceNow configurations, ensuring platform stability, performance and alignment with business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain ServiceNow integrations with enterprise systems and third-party applications using APIs and web services.
  • Manage and improve CMDB data quality, configuration governance and service dependency mapping.
  • Deploy, maintain and optimise ServiceNow Discovery to provide accurate visibility of infrastructure and service relationships.
  • Build dashboards, reports and analytics that provide meaningful operational insights, KPI tracking and service performance monitoring.
  • Partner with technology teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
  • Lead and support user acceptance testing, platform upgrades and release activities.
  • Identify opportunities to automate operational activities, strengthen controls and improve platform efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot complex platform and integration issues, perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Contribute to ServiceNow governance, development standards and platform best practices.
  • Support and mentor junior team members while promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the team.
  • Collaborate across the wider ServiceNow ecosystem and contribute to ongoing platform transformation initiatives.

Need to Have

  • Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience.
  • Hands-on experience configuring and implementing ServiceNow ITSM and/or ITOM modules.
  • Strong understanding of IT service management processes, including Incident, Problem and Change Management.
  • Experience working with ServiceNow Discovery and Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
  • Experience developing workflows, automations and platform enhancements using ServiceNow development tools.
  • Experience building integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise applications using REST, SOAP or similar technologies.
  • Strong understanding of service modelling, dependency mapping and configuration management principles.
  • Experience creating ServiceNow dashboards, reports and operational performance metrics.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Understanding of ServiceNow platform governance, development lifecycle and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Implementation Specialist certifications.
  • Experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub and ServiceNow automation capabilities.
  • Knowledge of scripting and ServiceNow development frameworks.
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with DevOps, CI/CD or release management processes.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Experience working within large-scale enterprise technology environments.
  • Exposure to additional ServiceNow modules and platform capabilities.
  • Experience delivering user training, adoption activities or coaching junior colleagues.
