About the role

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and technically proficient Technical Compliance Specialist to join our Compliance Department. In this role, you'll play a key part in maintaining the integrity of transactional data submitted to regulators, identifying and mitigating compliance risks, and ensuring technical processes are aligned with global regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will serve as the bridge between compliance, technology, and regulatory reporting, ensuring that our systems deliver clean, accurate, and reliable information.

Job responsibilities

  • Interpret and work with technical documentation, including API specifications, system architecture diagrams, and XML data structures
  • Collaborate with Product, Tech, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure regulatory requirements are incorporated from design through deployment
  • Support the development and implementation of compliance roadmaps for product certification and market entry
  • ensuring adherence to local and international regulatory standards
  • Coordinate and manage product audits and technical compliance gap assessments across multiple jurisdictions
  • Translate regulatory frameworks into clear technical specifications for technical and development teams
  • Proactively identify compliance risks, propose mitigation strategies, and assist in the implementation of compliant technical solutions
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of transactional data sent to regulatory bodies; proactively identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Execute basic to intermediate SQL queries to validate data integrity and perform compliance-related checks
  • Monitor daily/weekly data flows and system transactions to ensure continuous compliance with jurisdictional requirements
  • Conduct technical review of system workflows and XML/API integrations using tools like Postman; report on irregularities or failures
  • Support the Compliance Manager in preparing internal and regulatory reports and ensuring teams are trained and informed on compliance matters
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of compliance actions, audits, and corrective measures
  • Stay informed about changes in global gaming regulations and update internal policies and controls accordingly
  • Escalate risks, data inconsistencies, or technical vulnerabilities to the Head of Corporate Risks

Required qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in a technical/IT project management, development, technical support, data analytics, or compliance regulatory role—preferably within iGaming, fintech, finance, or another regulated industry
  • Proven ability to manage multiple compliance-related tasks in parallel, while maintaining strong organizational skills and meeting tight deadlines
  • Experienced in SQL, Excel, API tools (e.g., Postman), and XML data formats, with experience in validating and reconciling technical data
  • Skilled in interpreting and operationalizing regulatory and technical requirements across different jurisdictions
  • Demonstrated ability to translate regulatory obligations into actionable guidance for development and operational teams
  • Familiarity with compliance reporting, product certification processes, and Change Management systems
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Close attention to details, an analytical mindset, and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks
  • Fluency in English is required; other languages are a plus

Descripción:

Apoyar al área de Procesos de Negocio en el análisis, diseño, documentación y mejora de procesos operativos, asegurando que las iniciativas del área se ejecuten de forma ordenada, clara y alineada a las necesidades del negocio.

El rol tiene un fuerte componente operativo, pero también requiere criterio para proponer mejoras, priorizar iniciativas y servir como punto de conexión entre negocio, operaciones y tecnología.

Responsabilidades principales:

1. Análisis y documentación de procesos

  • Levantar información con diferentes áreas internas (Operaciones, Tecnología, Cumplimiento, Legal, Comercial, Finanzas).
  • Documentar procesos actuales y futuros (As-Is / To-Be).
  • Elaborar diagramas, flujos y documentación de procesos y reglas de negocio.
  • Identificar cuellos de botella, riesgos operativos y oportunidades de mejora.

2. Diseño y creación de workflows

  • Diseñar y mantener workflows operativos para la gestión o automatización de procesos.
  • Crear y actualizar workflows en archivos JSON, incluyendo validaciones y reglas básicas.
  • Trabajar en conjunto con áreas técnicas para la implementación de estos flujos en sistemas internos.
  • Ejecutar pruebas funcionales y asegurar el correcto funcionamiento de los workflows.
  • Documentar la lógica y reglas de cada flujo.

3. Gestión y seguimiento de iniciativas

  • Dar seguimiento a planes de trabajo, tareas y pendientes del área.
  • Coordinar reuniones, preparar minutas y dar seguimiento a acuerdos.
  • Identificar dependencias con otras áreas y alertar riesgos o bloqueos.
  • Apoyar en la priorización de iniciativas de acuerdo con impacto y esfuerzo.

4. Gestión de procesos y mejora continua

  • Tratar los procesos y workflows como activos vivos del negocio, sujetos a mejora constante.
  • Proponer ajustes o mejoras con base en la operación diaria y necesidades del negocio.
  • Traducir requerimientos del negocio en definiciones claras para su implementación.
  • Dar seguimiento a cambios y asegurar que los procesos cumplan con el objetivo para el que fueron diseñados.

5. Análisis operativo y preparación de entregables

  • Analizar información relacionada con procesos, indicadores operativos y desempeño de flujos.
  • Preparar reportes, presentaciones y resúmenes ejecutivos para la gerencia.
  • Mantener control documental de las iniciativas del área.

6. Soporte operativo y colaboración transversal

  • Administrar repositorios, controles y documentación del área.
  • Colaborar con distintas áreas en temas relacionados con procesos y operación.
  • Asegurar alineación entre procesos, sistemas y requerimientos internos o regulatorios.

Competencias técnicas

  • Conocimientos en análisis y rediseño de procesos (BPM).
  • Experiencia en modelado de workflows y manejo de estructuras JSON.
  • Conocimientos básicos de automatización de procesos o flujos operativos.
  • Capacidad para entender requerimientos funcionales y llevarlos a procesos claros.
  • Manejo intermedio de Excel, PowerPoint, Word y herramientas de diagramación.
  • Deseable: nociones básicas de APIs, lógica condicional o integraciones.
  • Deseable: experiencia o familiaridad con la industria de pagos, fintech o servicios financieros.
