Role description

About MammoCheck

MammoCheck Ltd is a Cyprus-based medical technology company and a Frederick University spin-out. We are developing an AI-powered Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) for adjunctive breast cancer screening. Our solution pairs consumer thermal imaging hardware with a proprietary deep learning model, delivered through a smartphone application, and is designed to support rather than replace clinical judgement. The product is positioned strictly as adjunctive and investigational while we advance toward FDA 510(k) clearance and CE marking under the EU Medical Device Regulation (EU MDR). We are now building the in-house regulatory and quality capability that will carry the product through clinical validation, regulatory submission, and market entry.

Role overview

As Technical Lead, you will own the engineering of MammoCheck's software platform: the smartphone application, the backend services, the internal compliance system, and the cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform, working alongside our AI team. You will lead the implementation of a software development lifecycle that meets medical device standards, including IEC 62304, and you will be the senior engineering voice in the room as we prepare technical documentation for FDA 510(k) and EU MDR CE marking. You will receive guidance on the regulatory dimension from our external consultants and support from the management team, but on engineering you lead. This is a rare opportunity to ship software that reaches patients through a clinician-reviewed screening pathway.

What you will do

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of the smartphone application and backend services, setting the architecture and technical direction.
  • Own and evolve the internal compliance platform built on Laravel and Filament, which manages our quality and regulatory workflows.
  • Manage the cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform in an EU region, including the machine learning serving infrastructure, with security and data residency by design.
  • Implement and enforce a medical device grade software development lifecycle in line with IEC 62304, including requirements traceability, verification, and release documentation.
  • Establish and run the code review process, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing, and maintain the cybersecurity documentation required for regulatory submissions.
  • Integrate thermal camera hardware SDKs and maintain the hardware-agnostic device abstraction layer.
  • Work daily with the AI team on the interface between the application and the model serving layer, without owning the model itself.
  • Mentor engineers as the team grows and contribute to hiring.

Guidance, training, and support

You will not be doing this alone. Strategy and specialist judgement are provided by our external consultants, who will train you on the frameworks, review your work, and remain available throughout. The management team provides direction and removes blockers, and the technical team supplies the engineering inputs and tooling you need. Your job is to implement, own the day-to-day system, and grow into the expert in the room.

Required qualifications

  • A degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Five or more years of professional software engineering experience, including experience leading projects or small teams.
  • Strong backend engineering skills. Our stack centres on PHP (Laravel) with modern tooling, so deep Laravel experience or the clear ability to master it quickly is essential.
  • Experience with mobile application development or close collaboration with mobile teams.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, ideally Google Cloud Platform, including security, monitoring, and CI/CD.
  • A disciplined engineering mindset. Documentation, traceability, and testing are not overhead in our domain, they are the product.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in a regulated environment such as medical devices, health tech, fintech, or aviation, or familiarity with IEC 62304 and ISO 13485.
  • Experience with Filament, Vue or React, and mobile frameworks (preferably Flutter).
  • Experience integrating hardware SDKs or working with imaging devices.
  • Familiarity with machine learning serving infrastructure such as Vertex AI.
  • Knowledge of Greek.

What we offer

  • A competitive salary.
  • Flexible and hybrid working arrangements.
  • Structured guidance and training from our external regulatory and quality consultants and specialist FDA and EU MDR advisors.
  • Direct support from the management team and the technical team, so you are never implementing alone.
  • Support for professional development and certification, including RAPS and ISO 13485 training.
  • Genuine technical ownership of a platform heading into clinical use, with the regulatory dimension taught to you rather than assumed.

Apply on the employer's site

Role description

We’re looking for Unity Developers to join our team. You’ll design, build, and maintain Unity games across various platforms including mobile, PC, and console, implement features, optimize performance, and fix bugs. You’ll collaborate with artists, designers, and other developers to create engaging experiences and contribute to the game design process while staying up to date with the latest Unity trends.

Employee-Owned Structure & Revenue Sharing

At Supono Holdings LTD, we operate under an employee-ownership model, meaning that every team member benefits directly from the company’s success. In addition to a competitive fixed salary, all employees participate in our revenue-sharing program, ensuring that contributions to the business are rewarded fairly and transparently.

We expect Unity developers to ensure projects are completed and launched within 1 to 2 weeks from scratch. You may need to work with dummy APIs to maintain progress and meet deadlines. We value developers who can self-manage and adapt quickly to dynamic workflows. For instance, a typical request might be: “Build an app like this competitor.” If Figma designs are not yet complete, you should be able to identify key components and begin structuring the app to ensure efficient progress while waiting for finalized designs.

  • Work closely with artists and designers to integrate visual and audio elements into Unity projects.
  • Improve game performance to ensure speed, stability, and scalability.

  • Identify bugs and develop effective solutions.
  • Stay up to date with Unity trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews, brainstorming sessions, and knowledge sharing within the team.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience developing hyper-casual and/or multiplayer games.
  • Strong Unity3D experience including C# scripting, textures, animation, UI, and session management.
  • Experience with networking and FishNet.
  • Exposure to mobile development for iOS and Android is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of 3D mathematics, physics principles, and game-related algorithms.
  • Experience profiling and optimizing CPU and GPU performance.
  • Experience working with source control systems such as Git in a multi-developer environment.
