Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day production of thin-film, solid-state batteries, ensuring quality and precision in every step of the process
  • Learn to operate specialized production equipment and help with regular maintenance and calibration to ensure optimal performance
  • Perform electrical and mechanical testing on battery cells, analyze performance data, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
  • Take ownership of small-scale R&D projects, from concept to execution, designed to improve battery performance, production efficiency, or explore new applications like battery integration.
  • Keep detailed records of experiments, production processes, and test results to support data-driven decision-making
  • Bring fresh ideas to the table during brainstorming sessions and team meetings, helping drive innovation in battery technology
  • Be fun to work with! :-)

Your profile

  • BSc. / MSc. degree in Chemistry, (Electrical) Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field;
  • Specialized coursework in Energy Storage, Power Electronics, or Embedded Systems is a major plus.
  • Initial work experience in an academic or laboratory setting is a plus
  • Initial work experience in an industry or startup setting is a plus
  • Fluency in English; additional languages (particularly German) are advantageous

  • Job type: Full-time internship (paid: CHF 2'000/month)
  • Workload: 100% for 6-12 months
  • Start date: November 2026
  • Location: Dübendorf
