You will become part of an international and highly collaborative Agile environment, working closely with testers, developers, DevOps engineers and business analysts. The team's mission is to eliminate one of the biggest testing bottlenecks by ensuring reliable, compliant and readily available test data across multiple non-production environments.
This role is ideal for an experienced Test Data Engineer who combines strong technical expertise with a pragmatic approach to automation, quality assurance and data management.
Responsibilities you'll have
- Design, build and maintain reusable
test data assets - Develop automated
test data provisioning
solutions - Create self-service mechanisms enabling teams to access test data on demand
- Implement and maintain
data masking and anonymization
processes - Ensure compliance with
GDPR
and internal data governance requirements - Create and maintain
synthetic test datasets
for various testing scenarios - Generate data for edge cases, negative tests and business-realistic scenarios
- Provision, refresh and clone datasets across non-production environments
- Support multiple teams performing parallel testing activities
- Integrate test data solutions with
test automation frameworks - Enable
CI/CD-driven
test data provisioning and automated regression testing - Monitor test data availability, usability and quality
- Troubleshoot and resolve test data related issues and defects
- Maintain documentation, standards and data dependency mappings
Expected competences and knowledge
- 8+ years of experience
in Test Data Management, Test Automation or related areas - Strong knowledge of
SQL
and relational databases - Experience working with
mainframe environments - Hands-on experience with: Test data generation, Data masking and anonymization, Data cloning, Data subsetting, Data extraction and transformation, Test Data Management solutions
- Experience supporting: Automated testing, Integration testing, End-to-End testing
- Scripting skills in
Python, PowerShell, Java
or similar technologies - Understanding of
CI/CD processes
and DevOps practices - Experience working in Agile delivery environments
- English proficiency at
B2 level or higher
